The young budding children from New Dawn Ashadeep Special School from Vasco, Goa under the guidance of Ms. Mamta Hussain a renowned artist, put forth two scintillating performances depicting the folk dances of Goa showcasing Goa’s rich cultural heritage and brilliantly highlighting the fusion of two communities: the Hindus and the Christians in Goa with a pinch of the historical Portuguese culture dancing to the tunes of Voddecara and Portuguese Cha cha cha .The special children of New Dawn Ashadeep School are under the expert guidance and training of Ms Mamta Hussain since last four years and have shown remarkable improvement. This was the first outing and a unique experience for the children as they travelled out of Goa for the first time and performed remarkably well in front of large audience

Fomento Resources through it’s trust Ashiyana has been supporting Ashadeep School since its inception and has provided an occupational therapy clinic and these children are trained under Ms Mamta Hussain through Music and Dance therapy.
